State Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that his daily routine begins with a cup of Araku coffee. Marking International Coffee Day on the social media platform X, he praised the beverage as a magnificent symbol of Andhra Pradesh’s rich heritage.

The Chief Minister traced the journey of the brew from the lush tribal hill regions of the state into the cups of coffee enthusiasts worldwide. He noted that this trajectory stands as a testament to state culture and the hard work of tribal farmers.

Naidu affirmed that the state government is firmly resolved to develop the region into a premier global coffee destination alongside a tourist hub. The government is actively investing toward this goal to empower local coffee-cultivating farmers.

Expanding this distinct brand image in quality and taste is the primary objective to secure a proper place for Andhra Pradesh on the world coffee map. The administration is moving forward to bring prosperity into the lives of local tribal farmers.

Coffee is produced across twelve Indian states, with Andhra Pradesh being one of them. In Alluri Sitharama Raju district, coffee is cultivated across one and a half lakh acres.
